Q: What is a unique fact people should know about Tyrol Ski & Sports? A: Tyrol is unique because of its seasoned staff. The average length of time employed at Tyrol for our full-time staff is 25-30 years! We are able to provide firsthand experience with the products we sell. And that includes suggesting appropriate equipment / apparel for the customer’s activity as well as advice on how to maintain the gear. We’ve earned the trust of many of our long-time customers. A: The outlook for Tyrol is good. The pandemic brought many families into the store looking for good options to get kids outdoors. We especially saw this during the winter months. A lot of folks rediscovered their love for outdoor recreation and all the benefits for mind and body that it provides. The active lifestyle is definitely here to stay. We have a loyal customer base and they often say “Tyrol is my favorite store”. We never get tired of hearing that – it makes all the effort worth it! Q: Tyrol Ski & Sports became a member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce in 1970. What do you find valuable in your membership to the organization? A: We have been a member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce since 1970. We have participated in some of the Chamber sponsored marketing seminars, as well as found benefit by the guidance of the Chamber during the pandemic.
