Feature F Indeed, for many Southeastern Minnesota families as well as visitors to the region, enjoying Apache Mall has become a favorite past time. But, as with most aspects of the retail environment, the “shopping mall” experience has evolved, as has the types of stores found within. Even before the pandemic, shopping malls faced a myriad of challenges, particularly due to the expansive nature of online shopping. So how has Apache Mall “faired” during this evolutionary time facing the retail industry?

From H&M to Barnes & Noble to Macy’s, there truly is something for everyone at this Rochester destination. Dining options range from full-service dining like Applebee’s, HuHot Mongolian Grill, and Red Lobster, to quick-serve choices such as Charley’s Philly Steaks and A&W All American Food in a food court that seats more than 500 customers. And while walking through malls can be a good opportunity for exercise, especially during the winter months, Brookfield Properties has made a concerted effort to envelope fitness and wellness opportunities within its properties. At Apache Mall, visitors will find Orangetheory Fitness, a one-hour ultimate workout concept that uses heart monitors to track clients’ heart rates.
