Levoni is a manufacturer with over 100 years of tradition in delivering the best of Italian cured meats and cured sausages. All products are made in Italy with local ingredients. This means that everything from the food the livestock eat to the wood used for smoking originates in the same region. Several of them are DOP-marked*, which guarantees a unique taste that cannot be copied. The flying pig in the logo dates from 1913, when Levoni took part in an international competition for the first time and was told that they ’were going to win the day pigs could fly’. Levoni went home with the first prize.
