Betsy Grimes Texas Remarkably P.E.O. Born and raised in Ohio, Betsy Grimes was given the gift of P.E.O. in 1982 when initiated into Chapter EH, Chillicothe, Ohio. A first- generation P.E.O., Betsy now enjoys the Sisterhood with her sister, Judy Trusler, and her two daughters-in- law, Rachel Grimes and Erin Grimes; all four are members of Chapter FV, Plano, Texas. Betsy graduated from Ohio University with a B.S. in education in 1972 and 1986 with an M.S. in educational administration. She has retired from a 32-year career in public education. Supporting P.E.O. projects dovetails with her lifelong devotion to education. Betsy, her husband, Doug, and their sons, John and Bradley, moved from Ohio to Texas in 1992. Betsy is the proud gigi to seven grandchildren, Will, Sawyer, Weston, John David, Emma, Laurel and Corinne. Betsy pledged to live her retirement years outside her comfort zone, where life is more thrilling and remarkable adventures add depth to the most productive years of life. Stepping up to board service was a giant leap outside her comfort zone but abiding faith in and love of the Sisterhood propelled her forward. Betsy is profoundly grateful for the remarkable rewards sprinkled so generously throughout P.E.O. service. Betsy thanks Chapter, EH, Chillicothe, Ohio; FV, Plano, Texas, and the Sisterhood for enriching her life.
