Brother Robinson S. Nunn is preceded in death by his parents and brother, King H. Nunn, IV (Alpha Mu 1965). He is survived by daughters, Robin Nunn and Lora (née Nunn) Faris; grandchildren, Faris Nunn and King Nunn; aunt, Glad- ys Armstrong; and a host of other loving family, fraternity brothers and friends. The Robinson S. Nunn MSUBA Schol- arship Fund at Michigan State Univer- sity is named in his honor. Keith W. Phillips 1957–2020 Insurance, Finance Services Executive Keith W. Phillips entered
Phillips was a charter member of the African-American Leadership Council and served on the Executive Commit- tee as Treasurer since its inception. He utilized the organization as a platform to educate the African-American com- munity on financial literacy and inde- pendence. Phillips was a mentor and a coach to many entrepreneurs across the country. He found his life’s purpose in serving others through education about life insurance, investments, and finan- cial planning. Phillips was very involved in other interests in his community. In 1988, he helped capitalize the first black-owned bank in Lithonia, GA, First Southern Bank, as one of the founding Board of Directors. In 1997, the bank subse- quently merged with Citizen’s Trust Bank, then one of the nation’s largest black-owned financial institutions. In 1981, Phillips was a charter member of the College Park (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He also served as a Board Member of the Greater Atlanta Community Foundation for several years and a Silver-tier spon- sor for the Arts Association of Newton County since the early 2000s. Every year, he and his wife sponsored stu- dents with book bags for school, bikes, and toys for the holidays, and he never missed an opportunity to give out hams and turkeys for Thanksgiving. Both of his parents and only brother, Kevin Arthur Phillips, preceded him in death. Brother Keith W. Phillips is sur- vived by a loving and devoted wife of 33 and a half years, Deborah (née Smith) Phillips; four daughters, Jessica Ré Phil- lips, Sara Ashley Phillips, Chelsea Sa- vanna Phillips, and Mackenzie Symone Phillips; and a host of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and business partners.

Robinson “Rob” Nunn (Delta Pi 1963) entered the Chapter Invis- ible on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 75. Robinson Socrates
Nunn was on September 29, 1944, in Blytheville, AR to Dr. King H. Nunn, III (Blytheville (AR) Alumni 1977) and Dr. Helen (née Robinson) Nunn. After graduating high school in Blytheville, Nunn attended Michigan State Uni- versity in East Lansing, MI where he graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Nunn earned a J.D. degree from American University Washington College of Law. In 1974, Nunn enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Judge Advocate General Corps where he handled prosecution and defense matters in courts martial cases and served as the command legal assistance officer. He provided legal advice on civilian matters to military personnel and their depen- dents. Nunn joined the Small Business Administration (SBA) and worked in all divisions of the agency General Coun- sel’s office, including General Law, Fi- nance and Litigation. He retired, after 45 years, from the SBA as the Chief Counsel for Ethics with responsibility for in-house counsel on ethics issues and Hatch Act advice. A Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi®, Nunn was also a founder of the D.C. Chapter of the Michigan State Universi- ty Black Alumni Association (MSUBA), an ex officio member of the National Board of the MSUBA and the 2016 recipient of the Clifton R. Wharton

Stanley Arthur Phillips on March 21, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA. He gradu- ated top of his class at Germantown (PA) High School and decided to attend college at Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC, where he earned a B.A. in accounting. He joined the fraternity as a 1977 initiate of the Gamma Omicron Chapter, where he led the chapter for two years as its polemarch. After college, he worked briefly in telecommunications in San Angelo, TX, before moving to Atlanta, GA, to joined Cox Media Group as an accountant. Af- ter obtaining his insurance license, Phil- lips established an A.L. Williams (now called Primerica) insurance franchise. He joined A.L. Williams, a financial services startup company, in March 1980, rising to a Regional Vice President by June 1983. During his professional career, Phillips became a member of Primerica’s prestigious Wall of Fame in
