Therefore, we have commit- ted to doing annually. With our steadily growing numbers in active membership,
Dhabi (AD) Alumni Chapter had to get creative on ways to support the under- graduate brothers. We are currently working on a international program that will allow two to three brothers to come to the UAE for a week. During that week they will work with a company related to their field of study. This will provide the student with a great experi- ence and an extra edge on his resume. In order to ensure a fair chance for all interested undergraduates, we will host an essay contest in order to decide which students will be afforded this great opportunity. Their flight and ac- commodations will be covered however, they will be responsible for their own eating arrangements. We are working out the full details and working with dif- ferent companies for the internship.
The brothers enjoyed the scenic view of the race with the wild indigenous animals of the region in the back drop of the course. They all completed the race in respectable times and received medals. More importantly, they ran for a worthy cause.
ABU DHABI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS THE ABEBECH GOBENA CHILDREN'S ORPHANAGE The Brothers of the Abu Dhabi Alumni Association travelled to the Abebech Gobena Children’s Orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital city. The Brothers spent time with the children at the orphan- age and participated in some fun and educational activities. They also contributed monetary
donations and brought goods and supplies to help keep the orphanage running. They also pledged to continue to support the orphanage by purchasing laptops for the orphanage to support the orphanage’s educational program. Under Graduate International Inter Program: Since there is not an un- dergraduate chapter in UAE, the Abu

PARTICIPATED IN THE 10K AL AIN BREAST CANCER RUN Four brothers represented the Abu Dhabi Alumni Association by participat- ing in the 10K Al Ain Zoo run for breast cancer awareness. This is an annual event that has a large following and participation within the region. It also showed support and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer. Breast cancer is a disease that affects women not only in the USA but worldwide. The brothers stated it was a privilege to participate in an event that brings awareness to a worldwide problem on an international stage.
