Anthony W. Sublett
Anthony Wayne Sublett (Kappa Beta 1986) earned both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer- ing from Tennessee State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. He also earned Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from California Polytechnic University, an MBA from Strayer University, and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Strayer University. Brother Sublett is currently working on a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentra- tion in Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Life Member Sublett is a Mechanical and Fire Protec- tion Engineering Manager. He worked at several Nuclear Power Plants, Department of Energy sites, and Northrop Grumman in the United States. He served as the Fire Protection Manager at Baraka Nuclear
Power Plant in Abu Dhabi from January 2017 to October 2019.
Dr. Carlos A. Thomas
Dr. Carlos A. Thomas (Beta Zeta 1992) earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Information Systems from Alabama State University and went on to earn a Master of Science degree with a major in Information Technology (IT) Security and a Doctorate in Professional Studies with a major in Computing. He currently serves as a Sr. Principal IT Specialist in the United Arab Emirates. He has resided in the UAE since 2015 with his wife and son.
Roy A. Williams
Roy Anthony Williams Jr., (Kappa Lambda 2008) was born in Fort Lewis, Washington raised in Charleston, South Carolina. While at Clemson University, he served as Chapter Historian, was an active member of the Guide Right Service Program, March of Dimes, and served as a mentor through Upward Bound. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Minoring in Mathemati- cal Science in 2012. Following graduation, he began his work in the power generation industry. After the closing of V.C. Summer Nuclear Power Plant during September 2017, Brother Williams was recruited by Nawah Energy Company at the age of 28 to contribute to the commissioning, construction, and start-up operations for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, the first nuclear power station in the Arabian
Peninsula and the first commercial nuclear power station in the Arab World. His role would be to support the four-unit site as the Head of Fire Protection Engineering for Unit(s) 1 & 2. Brother Williams, a man of God and loving husband, would function as a pioneer inspiring and advocating for the fellowship and congregation of brothers. Upon his arrival to UAE , he would reunite with his former undergraduate chapter member, Travis Cooper, who would introduce him to the existing klan of brothers.
