Jay Ainabe

Jay Ainabe ( Prairie View (TX) AL 2001) was born was in Lagos, Nigeria. At the age of 5 years old, his parents immigrated to Houston, Texas, where he spent most of his childhood years. At age 15, he moved to Riverside, California, where he attended high school and earned some athletics success playing football. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in Prairie View A&M University and would later earn a degree in Business specializing in Marketing in 1999.

After working for several companies in entry-level positions, Brother Ainabe realized that he had a higher calling to be an entrepreneur. He started his real estate career in 2003 in sales and investments. In 2007,

Brother Ainabe immigrated to Toronto, Canada, and continued his real estate career. Brother Ainabe currently owns and oper- ates a real estate financing and investment firm in Toronto, specializing in financing complex residential and commercial multi- million-dollar transactions. Brother Ainabe is married with two children and resides in the greater Toronto area.

Dennis L. Banks, Sr.

Dennis L. Banks ( Kenner (LA) AL 1998) Vice President, Edmonton Refinery, began his refining career as a Chemical Process Engineer with Mobil Oil Corporation. Brother Banks’ assignments have also included engineering, operations and planning positions with increasing levels of responsibility for Frontier Oil, Mar- athon Ashland Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, and Valero Energy. Prior to entering the refining industry, Brother Banks worked for The Joint Warfare Analysis Center. He performed engineering analysis of infrastruc- ture networks, conducted research into system and subsystem performance characteristics and assessed impacts of U.S. military actions in various conflict situations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Brother Banks, a native of Detroit, Michigan and a current permanent resident of Canada, is a father of three (two girls, one

boy), and together with his wife, Regina, currently reside in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Brother Banks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1993. He is a 33 rd Degree Prince Hall Mason and member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. He is a huge sports fan. When not enjoying spectator sports Brother Banks enjoys weightlifting and fishing.

Dr. Ahmad Belfon

Dr. Ahmad E. Belfon ( Delta Psi 1998) was born in Bridgetown, Barbados. His family immigrated to Canada when he was six years old. He attended St. Mary's Catholic High School in Pickering, Ontario and earned a full soccer and academic scholarship to Florida Southern College. Brother Belfon was initiated as a charter member of the Omicron Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi in 1999. He was captain of the soccer team in his junior and senior years and earned Student Athlete of the Year during these years. Brother Belfon met his college sweetheart Valerie Hardee, who was a scholarship cross country runner and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and returned to Canada where he attended the University of Toronto School of Medicine and graduated with an MD degree. Brother Belfon married Valerie Hardee in 2003, and they had two children, Carter in 2005 and Kennedy in 2007. Brother Belfon lives just outside of the Greater Toronto Area with his family. He works as a Family Physician and is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Queen’s University School of Medicine.
