Dr. Saurabh Pandalai
Dr. Saurabh Pandalai (Omicron Eta 1999) was born in New Delhi, India and completed his undergrad- uate degree in Florida. Brother Panadlai was a charter member of the Florida Southern College Chapter, the Omicron Eta of Kappa Alpha Psi. The fraternity was the first member of the Divine Nine on campus. After completing his master's degree at Vanderbilt University, Brother Pandalai moved to Europe to com- plete his medical degree, having been accepted at Trinity College at the University of Dublin in Ireland. He then completed his residency in General Practice followed by further diplomas in Dermatology and musculoskeletal medicine and injury management.
Having spent almost two decades in Europe, Brother Pandalai then decided to immigrate to Toronto, Canada. Upon realizing his undergraduate chapter Brother, Ahmad Belfon, was also a physician living in Toronto, he knew he only had to just reach out to him for help in making the transition back to North America. Brother Pandalai now lives and works in Toronto and considers himself blessed and fortunate to be involved in the historic es- tablishment of the first Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi in Canada and to continue to be able to serve in any way possible amongst men who embody the spirit of achievement.
Roy G. Rogers
Roy G. Rogers ( Sigma 1997) was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan to a hardworking single mother due the death of his father only a few days prior to his birth. Being exposed to the fraternity as an adoles- cent, he became intrigued as a teenager to learn more about the organization. Brother Rogers attended the University of Michigan in 1997 and studied Electrical Engineering. He served as the Junior Province Vice Polemarch of the Northern Province.
During his tenure, he strengthened the relationship between the undergraduate and alumni chapters. As an undergrad he was on the National Nominations and Elections Committee and was the second under- graduate ever to receive the Robert L. Gordon Leadership Award. Brother Rogers later went on to become the Keeper of Records at the Western Cape Alumni Chapter while living in South Africa. Upon returning to the America, he affiliated with the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster (MI) Alumni Chapter. As a Life Member of the fraternity, Brother Rogers is also a board member for the Sigma Chapter Centennial Planning Com- mittee. Brother Rogers has had a 14-year career as a Global Events Transportation Specialist where he continues to be a part of such events as the Fifa World Cup, Olympics, NBA All-Star Weekend and Finals, NFL Superbowl, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games.
Brother Rogers settled in Toronto in 2016 with his wife Renee and they have a daughter.
Rev. Dr. Kirby Spivey III
Rev. Dr. Kirby Spivey III (Xi Kappa 1996) holds the Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University, Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. In 2020, he graduated with his doc- torate as the only cohort to bear the name Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Scholars at McCormick Theological Seminary. In 2002, Brother Spivey became the Children’s and Youth Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Jamaica Queens. In 2004, ministry led Brother Spivey to Brooklyn for eight years. In 2012 God called Brother Spivey to Canada. Since 2012, he has led New Beginnings Ministries (NBM) with cutting-edge ministry in the Maritimes through creative Young Adult Ministry and social/political activ- ism. He is the Senior Pastor of NBM in Halifax, Nova Scotia and oversees a multinational (Canada, Uganda, Kenya), multisite (two in Halifax), multicultural ministry. He is also visiting professor at Acadia Divinity College.
Brother Kirby, husband to Amanda Marie, is dad to Kirby IV Asante, Khalil, Josiah, Azyon and Tyrin.
