Money Management 101: Create Your Curriculum

Unlike learning to read, there is no systematic approach to teaching financial literacy. As a Melaleuca Marketing Executive, you’ve proven that you’re willing to break through the status quo and improve upon what is standard. Take the same initiative in regards to your financial education. There are many financial education resources available and many of them are free. Devote 15 minutes a day to increasing your knowledge and you’ll be amazed by how much you’ve learned after six months. Listen to the So Money podcast by Farnoosh Torabi while you’re doing housework. Read Dave Ramsey’s The Total Money Makeover a chapter at a time and implement its principles. Scour the financial section of a newspaper over a cup of Mountain Cabin® Premium Coffee. Subscribe to and read magazines like Money , Kiplinger’s Personal Finance , and Forbes .
