We spoke with Partner and Tax Accountant Manager, Bill Oertli, CPA to learn more. Q: Tell us about Oertli and Pleschourt. What does your company offer to the Rochester region? A: Oertli & Pleschourt is a full-service CPA firm that provides a variety of accounting services that include tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, payroll, and retirement planning for individuals, trusts, estates, farms, and small businesses.
Q: How did it start for Oertli and Pleschourt? A : Bill Oertli, CPA started the company in 1987 with himself and a part time secretary as the only employees of the company, nine years later Carmen Pleschourt, CPA joined the firm and partnered up with Bill Oertli, CPA. Today, the company has grown to 14 full-time employees that serve over 5,500 clients. Q: Oertli and Pleschourt became a member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce last year. What do you find valuable in your membership to the organization? A: The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce has provided us with the opportunity to interact on a personal scale with the Rochester business community. The chamber has been a very valuable resource for staying in touch with happenings in the community.
