Merchants Bank celebrates its 150th anniversary on Thursday, July 17th. Founded in the river town of Winona, Minnesota in the summer of 1875 by a group of like-minded businesspeople, Merchants Bank now proudly serves over 20 communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin. It joined the Rochester community in 1999 through the acquisition of two TCF locations. The Rochester branches are celebrating the Bank’s milestone throughout the summer at Sargent’s Smooth Summer Nights. As a proud event sponsor, Merchants Bank invites community members to enjoy fun evenings full of food, drinks, live music and Sargent’s garden in full bloom every second Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. through September. “As a proud sponsor of Sargent’s Smooth Summer Nights for several years now, we know these events are a wonderful way to engage with the Rochester community,” said Jarett Jones, Market President.
“This summer, it’s especially meaningful as we celebrate our 150th milestone, a testament to the strong partnerships and support that have fueled our growth.” For a full list of community events and ways you can engage, visit the Merchants Bank homepage (www.merchantsbank.com) or Summer of Dreams page (www.merchantsbank.com/150summerofdreams).
