O n 5 March 2025, hundreds of payroll professionals headed to London to attend the CIPP’s second Payroll Live event. And they didn’t leave disappointed. The day was jam-packed full of insightful presentations and there were plenty of opportunities for payrollers to network with their peers, and to discuss the industry they love with like-minded people. Unfortunately, I can’t fit every single fantastic detail into this double page spread, so I’ve included a round-up of the day’s sessions here. Minimum wage under the microscope: insights and implications
Jeni Morris, Head of National Minimum Wage Specialist Team, EY, provided insight into the sheer complexity of national minimum wage (NMW) policies and procedures.
