We spoke with the director of property management, Debra Godtland, at Velair Property Management for more information. Q: Tell us about Velair Property Management. What does your company offer to the Rochester region? A: Velair Property Management is a professional property management company managing properties throughout the state of Minnesota. We are a service company, and our mission is “Delighting residents and communities by providing exceptional homes and services”. The way we serve together, grow together, and succeed together is called The Velair Way. In the Rochester area, Velair proudly manages 793 multifamily units amongst 11 properties and are
active members of the Rochester Minnesota Multi- Housing Association and Rochester Chamber.
Q: How did it start for Velair Property Management? A : Velair Property Management started in 2014 with properties totaling 724 affordable multifamily units in a portfolio of 13 affordable properties. Currently, there are 2,008 multifamily units across a portfolio of 36 properties. The company is proud of the growth of nearly 280% increase in less than ten years. Q: Velair Property Management became a member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce in 2016. What do you find valuable in your membership to the organization? A: Velair is proud to be a member of the Rochester chamber of commerce. Our membership allows us to professionally connect with various organizations to support our buildings and provide quality housing for Rochester renters.
