I will also be talking about the hole that was left after the banishment of the Habsburgs in Austria and Hungary. I will look into his role during WorldWar one, the two attempts at recapturing his Hungarian crown and Miklós Horthy’s lies he told to Bl. Karl to keep him out of the throne of Hungary. Katie Montini - “LGBTQ+ Access to Healthcare” (session 13) In the United States of America, many people do not have adequate access to healthcare. Certain groups of people are disproportionately affected, and one group that faces this issue is the people within the LGBT+ community. These disparities may be a result of many different factors including but not limited to discrimination, flaws in medical training, as well as multiple other factors.

MacKenzie Murphree - “Exploration of the Relationship Between Drug Use and Changes in Mood and Anxiety” (poster session) The purpose of this study is to determine whether drug use is at all connected to mood swings and/or changes in feelings of anxiety. The participants taking the survey are the introduction to psychology students on the Missouri Valley College campus. It is believed that if drug use does contribute to these heightened feelings then these feelings would improve if drugs were cut out of the individual’s life. This data is being collected via survey that asks about their demographics, feelings of anxiety, mood changes, and any drug use Amber Newsom - “MDO Internship” (poster session) For my poster I will be presenting what I learned and got out of my experience as an intern this semester with Missouri Dance Organization, also know as MDO. I will also discuss what all I did in my time as an intern. I believe this experience was very beneficial. Working with MDO helped grow my knowledge which made me more aware of business skills that are needed for success in owning a dance studio. I plan to present how and why this internship was a great learning experience.
