This all impacts the cost of constructions and why we have a tremendous shortage of affordable housing throughout the nation. At DeWitz Home Builders, we have adjusted to try to offset the rising cost of home ownership. We now offer compact lots to help lower the cost of a building site. We will build a home with the lower level unfinished so the homeowner can finish themselves to build equity. We stay active with local and state policies that affect the rising cost of home ownership. We know that owning a home is the single most creator of wealth for Americans.
