Strategic focus n The post holder will support the Director of Estates deliver strategic planning leadership whilst also ensuring robust operational project management plans are established and implemented. The two key areas of responsibility will be the planning and delivery of:

This is a high profile role within the University requiring strong collaboration across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Estates you will be responsible for actively contributing to the development and delivery of Strategic plans and investment solutions for the Built Environment ensuring alignment to the Universities Masterplan and Estates Strategy. In addition, the University will be investing in appointing Senior Project Manager and Project Manager roles to ensure we have the capacity and capability to deliver the Phase 2 Master plan The key requirements of the role are summarised right:

n To be proactive in developing and establishing contacts, networks and relationships with internal and external parties i.e Faculty ‘clients’, Professional Services Colleagues, Manchester City Council, external funding bodies and Corridor Manchester Partners.
• The MMU schedule of ‘Minor Projects’ (via the Faculty and Professional Services annual planning process.)
n Act as a key advocator and communicator of the Estates Strategy both internally and externally by providing leadership, influence and support that seeks to build a dynamic and innovative approach to Estates Development
