Tenet Masterclass Two brochure

Welcome to Tenet’s Masterclass Round Two

Hello and welcome to Masterclass Round Two, our final round of these events for 2017. Joining us at this event, we are pleased to work with Ingenious, Royal London, Just, Deepbridge, Oxford Capital, Sanlam, Canada Life, Brooks MacDonald and Kings Court Trust; the more the merrier we say! Each provider partner here today will be presenting on various subjects, all of which are accredited for structured CPD (excluding Elevator Pitches). In this round of Masterclasses, you will hear from our specialist Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) partners looking at the background, changing landscape and qualifying EIS investments, along with Business Relief (BR) and the Residential Nil Rate Band (RNRB). We will also take a look at different aspects of the pension market, from SIPPs, trustees and insured SIPPs, managing money in retirement, considerations in relation to pensions and divorce, the suitability process and a modern approach to underwriting during retirement. The day will also look at achieving business efficiencies with the use of specialist investment management and the use of bonds in today’s advice process as part of tax planning for clients. And finally, the key elements and drivers of the inheritance economy and the opportunities available as part of these developments.

NEW FOR 2017 You may well be familiar with our new addition to this year’s programme which is our very own Tenet Event App, but if this is your first time using it, please feel free to ask any member of the Tenet Team who will be on-hand throughout the event. The introduction of the Tenet event app is to give delegates attending an enhanced experience, enabling you to get more involved, download information at the touch of a button and contact any Tenet staff and our provider speakers more freely and easily. The app has been developed with you in mind, however if you think there is anything that could be added, please complete your comment card and leave this with us at the end so we can take your feedback on-board! If you have previously attended one of our events this year and already have the new app installed, you will simply need to update it to show the new event. For those attending an event for the first time this year, you will already have been invited to download the app in readiness for your event and your presenter and event staff will be able to assist you with this new technology. Key features include contact details for hosts, staff and speakers, session details with ability to download presentations, attendee information with the ability to message members via the app, direct links to social media and a feedback facility. And finally… Please feel free to provide feedback to us on any element of the event. It is your feedback that helps us to make improvements for all advisers attending. We hope you enjoy the event, as well as the opportunity to network with other advisers, providers and the Tenet staff in attendance.
