mcP was established in 1987 with support from the department of trade & industry (dti) to delivermaintenance improvement programmes to uk industries through its amis programme (asset management information service).

Developing products and services to meet client demands has enabled the team to build capability in Asset Management, Change Management, Business Improvement and Training. This strategy helped MCP to build a client base of blue-chip and international businesses, requiring our staff and international partners to travel and work in more than 30 countries worldwide, including North and South America, Asia, China, Middle East, Europe and Scandinavia. In 2011, MCP won the project to support Dubai Airports with an Engineering Change Programme, supporting their growth to become the biggest international airport in the world andwe continue to provide on-going support. This project was the stepping-stone for MCP to establish their first UAE branch office in Abu Dhabi. Support from the local UKTI (UK Trade & Investment West Midlands) department helped the business with this expansion by providing financial support and marketing information. nasco is honoured to have been awarded its fourth consecutive Queen’s award for Enterprise in international trade. Nasco is a leading exporter and wholesaler of FMCG (fast moving consumer goods). Their product range includes over 10,000 food, drink, toiletries and household products. NiteSite Ltd nitesite ltd, established in 2011, is located in York, north Yorkshire and manufactures and markets high quality, affordable and reliable infrared night vision for hunting, security and zero light observation. the company currently exports to thirty-one countries and has a presence on every continent. Nick Bortone, Managing Director, commented, “The Queen’s Award is a great honour, not just for the company, but for all of our employees, suppliers and distributors in the UK and internationally who have helped contribute to the company’s success.” David and Phil Craven, the inventors, vision was to create a product that could be used to help farmers control vermin and predatory animals that wreak havoc in arable and livestock farming. NiteSite introduced a ‘heads up’ shooting position rather than the traditional through the scope position. This proved to be a game changer, as it was quickly picked up by hunters the world over due to the crystal clear vision of the prey, whilst providing the hunter more awareness of their surroundings, thereby increasing safety and effectiveness. In addition to the core product range, NiteSite sell a full range of accessories and an infrared handheld spotting device used within the hunting and security markets.

NiteSite assists various charities throughout the UK that are involved in giving the disabled the opportunity to target shoot, which the products are well suited to being used for due to the heads up shooting position. The products were also provided to a bird watching charity on the island of Skokholm in Wales, who monitor bird nesting and migration activity.
