Anilox are aluminium or steel rolls, sleeves or cylinders coated with Chromium Oxide (Ceramic) which are laser engraved using high precision lasers to engrave microscopic cells into the surface of the ceramic coating. The purpose of the Anilox is to collect and transfer a precise amount of ink onto a printing plate. The Anilox enables the printing plate to achieve a precise depth of colour whilst achieving a high graphic image or solid colour. The company’s rolls and sleeves are used to produce a high quality range of printed packaging including wine labels, self-adhesive labels, corrugated board, crisp packets and many film products.
