King Cole Ltd Since winning The Queen’s award for enterprise in international Trade in 2012 King Cole has continued to grow in both the united Kingdom and export markets where turnover has doubled. In order for us to continue our expansion it became clear that we would need bigger premises and in June 2014 we moved in to our new buildings in Skipton North Yorkshire on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. King Cole Ltd was established 80 years ago this year and is still a family run business supplying Hand Knitting Yarns in natural, synthetic and blended fibres. We have our own in house design team
enabling us to produce a wide range of knitting patterns for all the family. Our range of yarns continues to be developed and we now have over 80 different qualities and hundreds of colours for babies, children of all ages, men and women as well as a wide range of accessories. Winning The Queen’s Award in 2012 was a proud moment for our small hard working team and we continue to display the logo on every ball of
knitting yarn and every knitting pattern leaving our premises. The award is displayed at our exhibitions both in the UK and overseas, a great endorsement for the company and a great confidence boost for our existing customers and our prospective ones. We need to continue our growth, we are constantly bringing out further new pattern designs and we are working to expand our already extensive range of yarns. We continue to seek out new
distribution outlets around the world in order for more customers to enjoy our product. Once again we must thank our customers around the world, not forgetting our loyal staff without their work and support
