Rega Research Ltd established in 1973, rega research Ltd built its initial success on award winning tonearms and turntables, but has been producing complete handmade hi-fi systems in the uK since the eighties. Rega’s owner Roy Gandy has very specific design goals which are applied to every product they make; excellent sound reproduction, ease of use, reliability and exceptional value for money. These goals were achieved through elegant technical solutions and clever production processes, often creating award winning engineering assemblies at exceptionally low prices. Roy is still the owner and a key member of the design team. The Rega brand is synonymous around the world with turntables, however, the company’s strength lies in the sheer depth of products it produces. With a range now consisting of more than forty five different products from hand built moving coil cartridges through to loudspeakers, amplifiers, DAC's and CD players. Rega is one of the few brands where you can build a complete hi-fi system including cables from front to back. Simon Webster, Rega’s sales and marketing co-ordinator, commented: “This award was in recognition of our overseas sales growth over the last three years and the unique way we select and work with our export partners around the world. Rega has always prided itself on developing special relationships with whoever we work with, be it supplier or distributor.
