We give students the opportunity to study a variety of tourism destinations. Field trips are designed to enhance students’ understanding of the complexities and requirements of running a tourism destination. Previous trips have included visits to Penderyn Whisky – a premium whisky distillery, top sporting venue and even a trip to Nepal. Please note, the cost of field trips is in addition to the course fees. Students will participate in a range of mandatory field trip experiences, both locally and overseas (destinations will vary year on year). Individuals may be eligible to apply for travel bursaries from the department and the University’s Go Global team to subsidise any additional costs.
