CONTROL PANELS
RTT offers a variety of control panel options for your equipment. Motor starters are an economical way to safely control and protect a motor, while a standard UL listed control panel offers additional features such as main disconnect and booth lights control. VFD control panels allow for the ability to easily adjust fan speed which simplifies booth balancing. RTT also offers optional touch screen controls for booths. Control panels are delivered pre-wired with a single connection point to make installation fast and easy. SmartTouch and PLC Based Control SmartTouch is a standard feature for all ovens and is optional for spray booths. Features & Options • Color touch screen available in 3 sizes; 4.3 inch, 7 inch and 15 inch formats. • SmartTouch Control Panels offer expandable inputs and outputs allowing for reconfigurations and new capabilities such as operations change. • The SmartTouch panel can display the static pressure reading across the filters right on the screen. This data can then be used to set limits on filter changes and exported for filter analysis. • When a VFD is used in conjunction with the SmartTouch control panel, detailed information such as frequency and amperage can be monitored. • Easily schedule preventative maintenance by utilizing the built in hour meters that monitor each critical device on the equipment. • When used with RTT ovens, and SmartTouch Control Panel is connected to a local area network, you can utilize RTT ' s SmartConnect app to remotely monitor oven status via any Android, PC or Apple device. VFD Control Panel VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) control panels allow the motor to operate anywhere between 18Hz and 60Hz. Having the ability to adjust fan speed allows for better control of the airflow in the booth. VFD control panels also offer energy savings because the fan is slowly ramped up to speed elimina ting costly inrush current and savings on wear & tear items like belts. Features & Options • VFD control panel provides maximum airflow control. With new filters in the booth, the fan may move more air than what the applicator prefers. By using a VFD control panel, the operator can slow the fan when needed and speed it up as the filters become clogged. It also provides the ability to run the fan at a low speed during surface preparation. • When a booth has a supply fan and exhaust fan, they both must move the exact amount of air for the booth to properly balance. Using a VFD control panel booth balance is simple because the operator has full control over the speed of the exhaust fan. • The RTT VFD control panel is designed with high quality components. A VFD control panel has a main disconnect switch, fuse protection for the VFD, protection for up to 15 lights, control relays and field wiring terminal strip. The operator interface includes start/ stop buttons for the fans and lights and a potentiometer to control the speed of the fan. The included magnehelic gauge can be used to adjust the balance of the booth.
