Dana M. Peterson, chief economist for The Conference Board, has established herself as a visionary, and the go to expert providing insightful analysis and predictions to corporations, associations, and government organizations looking for clarity and foresight into how economic drivers might impact their businesses in the short- and long-term. In addition to serving as chief economist of The Conference Board and a member of its Executive Committee, Peterson also leads the organization’s U.S. Economy, Strategy & Finance (ESF) Center — directing and managing its research programs and spearheading the quality and integrity of creation and dissemination of its full knowledge portfolio. Peterson joined The Conference Board from Citi, where she spent close to two decades — first as North America economist and later as global economist. At Citi, she led the production of macroeconomic forecasts and analysis for the United States and Canadian economies focused on political, monetary, fiscal, and financial market trends.

ROBERT DAUFFENBACH, PH.D. Professor Emeritus of Entrepreneurship, Michael F. Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma Robert C. Dauffenbach was named professor emeritus upon his retirement in July 2022. He recently served as the senior associate dean for economic development, professor of business administration, and director for the Center for Economic and Management Research at the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Dauffenbach’s principal training is in human resource economics and econometric methods. He has served on the faculties of Wayne State, the University of Illinois and Oklahoma State University. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Wichita State University and his doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. Dr. Dauffenbach is a member of the Southern Economic Association, the National Association of Business Economists, and the Association for University Business and Economic Research.

Partner and Chief Economist, Thorberg Collectorate Russell Evans, Ph.D., serves as partner and chief economist at Thorberg Collectorate and president of the collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division. MARK SNEAD, PH.D. President, RegionTrack

Mark Snead, Ph.D., is an economist and president of RegionTrack Inc., an Oklahoma City-based economic research firm specializing in regional economic forecasting and analysis. Dr. Snead’s research interests focus primarily on regional economic modeling and forecasting, local area economic development, and the economic role of the nation’s energy-producing regions. He frequently presents to a range of business, financial and policy audiences and has published numerous research articles and reports on regional economic issues. Prior to founding RegionTrack, Snead served as vice president and Denver branch executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where he served as the Reserve Bank’s regional economist and lead officer in Colorado, Wyoming and northern New Mexico. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Dr. Snead was with Oklahoma State University where he was the founding director of OSU’s Center for Applied Economic Research. Snead holds a B.B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in economics and finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in economics from Oklahoma State University.

CHAD WILKERSON Oklahoma City Branch Executive and Senior Vice President of Community Development, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Chad Wilkerson serves as the Oklahoma City branch executive and senior vice president of community development for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Wilkerson has been with the Federal Reserve since 1998, starting in Kansas City’s research department. Appointed in 2006 as the Oklahoma City branch executive, Wilkerson is the Bank’s lead officer and regional economist in Oklahoma. He recruits and works closely with the Oklahoma City Branch Board of Directors and is responsible for briefing the Kansas City Fed president, a member of the Federal Open Market Committee, on economic trends in the state. His team conducts research and surveys on key regional issues such as energy, manufacturing and migration. Wilkerson holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago, as well as a master’s degree from Southwestern Seminary and bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College. He serves on the boards of the Economic Club of Oklahoma, the United Way of Central Oklahoma and City Rescue Mission.

Sean Trauschke serves as chairman, president and CEO for OGE Energy Corp. He joined OGE Energy as vice president and chief financial officer in April 2009 and was named president, Oklahoma Gas and Electric, in July 2013. He was named president, OGE Energy, in 2014, and assumed the role of CEO on May 29, 2015, and chairman on Dec. 1, 2015. Trauschke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Throughout his professional career, Trauschke has been active in numerous civic and community organizations and currently serves as the chair of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.

Kent Shortridge serves as senior vice president of operations and customer service for ONE Gas. Prior to his current role, and before ONE Gas separated from ONEOK, Inc. to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, Shortridge served as vice president of operations for Oklahoma Natural Gas. He joined ONEOK in 1990 as a field engineer and held various positions of increasing responsibility. He was vice president of Oklahoma Natural Gas Company’s Eastern Region, where he managed and oversaw operations. Before that, as president of natural gas pipelines of ONEOK Partners, Shortridge was responsible for interstate and intrastate natural gas pipelines and storage. He also has held the position of vice president of natural gas supply and administration of ONEOK’s natural gas distribution segment at the time – Oklahoma Natural, Kansas Gas Service and Texas Gas Service – and vice president, commercial, of ONEOK Partners’ intrastate pipelines and storage assets.
