Modifications are provided for all abilities that includes some floor work. Cardio Kickbox Combine kickboxing moves with cardio drills. Enjoy a full-body workout while enhancing fitness, agility, and self-defense skills. Cardio Mix Expertly combine the major components of fitness with an emphasis on cardio, flexibility, muscular strength, endurance in a high-energy class. Cardio Step & Muscle A combination of cardio step and intervals with an added resistance challenge to make this a well-rounded workout. Cardio Workout Enjoy a stimulating aerobics class of high or low interval training. Yoga for mindfulness, strength, balance and stretching, all with the support of a chair. Experience the benefits of yoga, with support and confidence. For all levels and abilities. Core Strength & Conditioning Combine core strengthening exercises with functional movements to enhance stability and performance. Indoor Cycling • Register online at newwestcity.ca/indoor-cycling or call any Parks and Recreation facility • Registration opens at 10:00 am, 72 hours in advance for New Westminster residents, and 48 hours in advance for everyone. • Arrive no more than 5 - 10 minutes early. No class admittance once the class has started. • Cancellations must be done 3 hours before the class starts. Withdraw online, over the phone or in person. • No-shows will be tracked and failure to cancel may result in revoked privileges. Cycle, Cycle Express Experience a non-impact cardio workout including indoor cycling intervals and drills. Short on time? Our Cycle Express class is only a 45 minute workout Cycle & Strength, Cycle & Stretch Combines indoor cycling with body conditioning and core training exercises, using dumbbells and tubing. Cycle & Stretch is a calming class that transitions from invigorating ride to peaceful stretches as the day winds down. Cycle Party A high-energy indoor cycling workout with fun music and weekly themes, finished with a deep stretch. Workout (50+) offers a low impact option. Chair Yoga, Yoga (50+ years)

Dance Party Full-body, no-equipment cardio workout set to throwback R&B songs, Afrobeats, Bollywood, and Hip Hop. Flow Yoga Engage in a continuous flow of poses with dynamic, rhythmic, and fluid movements. Functional Strength Focus on functional training with the goal of practicing movements safely and correctly. Gentle Fit (50+ years) A low to moderate intensity class that features chair and standing exercises. Focus is on improving, balance, strength, and stability through everyday movements. Modifications are provided for all abilities. Gentle Yoga & Meditation Move through gentle, easy-on-your-body, yoga poses, followed by a guided meditation. Hatha Yoga & Hatha Core Yoga Postures and stretches with breath work to encourage alignment, improve balance, increase strength and help calm the mind and body. Yin Yoga includes longer held postures with focus on deepening flexibility. Hip Hop Fitness Heighten energy with Hip Hop choreography, fitness, and fun. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Interval Training Maximize endorphin levels in a total-body, cardio and strength workout with each intense interval followed by a recovery interval and stretch. Use of different equipment such as dumbbells. All fitness levels welcome. Iyengar Yoga Learn basic actions in asanas, develop strength, flexibility, awareness, and confidence. For beginners and expereinced students seeking to focus on fundamentals. Props are optional if brought. Lift & HIIT Combine dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight exercises to enhance strength and overall function in a full-body, metabolic workout.
