H yper Kidz Crofton is an indoor playground for children that features three outer-space themed zones and several attractions for kids of all ages. Each zone is catered to a specific age group to ensure that each child is experiencing age-appropriate play. There’s the mini zone, for infants to 2-year-olds; the kid zone serves children ages 2 to 7; and the big kid zone is geared toward children 8 years old and above.

“We believe that there is a need for play facilities that offer a wide range of play options for children, other than inflatables and trampolines. Our goal was to create a play space in which children of different ages and age groups can have fun together under one roof,” said Dawnielle Robb, co-owner of Hyper Kidz Crofton. “We strongly believe in the power of play and its ability to develop and enhance children’s social skills, critical and analytical thinking, analytical problem- solving abilities, fine and gross motor skills, and social etiquette,” said Robb. “Hyper Kidz is the perfect option to reduce screen time and encourage active and physical play.” The Waugh Chapel Business Park facility boasts an open floor plan with soft foam play equipment, motorized toys, and physical gaming systems. The building also has five party rooms for birthday parties and other special events. They also host camp groups and field trips for

kids to get out and use Hyper Kidz’s play areas. Robb said they employ a lot of students from the local high school and community colleges who work in customer service and at the check-in desk. Safety officers walk around to check that all of the children are safe and playing in the appropriate play zones. Designated cleaners ensure that each area is properly cleaned. St. John Properties’ in-house teams helped Hyper Kidz support their mission and passion for play by helping to guide them through the space planning process. Once the facility’s special play equipment was installed, St. John Properties’ designers helped determine where the party rooms, bathrooms and offices would go. Robb said they not only needed a building that would accommodate the amount of space required for play equipment, special events, and offices, but finding the right location was also key. Hyper Kidz offers year- round climate control fun.” –Dawnielle Robb, Co-Owner, Hyper Kidz Crofton proximity to a popular shopping area has aided in driving traffic to the facility. The facility opened just a year ago, but they’ve already been a vital asset to the community. They’ve even given back: in 2024, Hyper Kidz Crofton supported two nonprofits with separate toy drives where they collected donations for children in need.
