gospel communications. Such programs as “World Vision” ; “Morning Chapel Hour” , with Wilbur Nelson; “ The Bible Institute Hour” ; “ Bible Fellowship Hour” , with Myron T. Webb; Merv Rosell; Billy Graham; Orient Crusades and others. One of the most appealing instruments in the spacious facilities is the four manual Robert Morton pipe organ installed by Lorin himself. The organ consists of 24 ranks of pipes with a full compliment of percussions, piano, vibra-harp, with a further division in installation for “ stereo” pickup. Many of the broadcasters are heard on a large number of stations not directly connected by network lines to one another. For timeliness in release dates, extra tape record ings are necessary. High speed Ampex equipment is used which makes a copy of a half hour tape in three minutes. Without question Whitney Studios provides an in valuable service to broadcasters of various denominations. Top quality equipment and expert recordists make pos sible improved programs for gospel proclamation. All, working together, are helping to “ give the winds a mighty voice.”

This past May, he worked with Bob Pierce as organist for the Osaka, Japan Crusade. In addition to the various religious recording com panies producing albums at Whitney Studios (where stereophonic equipment is also utilized), the list of radio broadcasters is practically a “who’s who” in the field of
