to have me go out alone at night. She couldn’t really trust me, but now things are different. You see, Christ makes a difference in every aspect of life, doesn’t He? He certainly does, Tony. Now, what about your future? By God’s grace, I plan to continue working for the Lord. We have the privilege of testifying in many areas to young people. I thank God for the joy and peace, the courage, and the satisfaction which He has given me. I used to search for something and I didn’t know what it was, but now I have found it and know it is Christ, the Lord! Tony, what about your religious records? I have made several albums S one for Cornerstone, called “ I’m His To Com mand,” another for Christian Faith called “Tony Fontane Sings,” and the last for RCA Victor called, “ The Touch of His Hand.” And how about your favorite song, Tony? It would be my testimony and it is written by my dearest friend, Phil Kerr. “ I’m in Love with the Lover of My Soul.” How I thank Jesus Christ for what He did for me in saving me and in giving me the assurance of eternal life. I hope every one of you will enter into the joy and satisfaction of this perfect peace. END iey live on SadStreet" w t S Pith it was, a,^ undernourished r i 6t b Chrisfi n children. Many, many other children like these live on the “ sad” streets of cities on both sides of the Iron Cur tain. What must be the heartache of their parents, not to be able to provide the things their children need for normal, healthy growth! What joy when through your com- passion we are enabled not only to send them food and clothing that bring back health and exuberance to these shadowed young lives, but also to bring to them the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The health and happiness of these children is our sacred trust. Will you share it with us?

'Phil has kept me busy in meetings almost every night since I first met him." found out later that my dad had been praying all that time in the little mis sion in North Dakota. Well, Tony, that was a wonderful testi mony. I realize you have only given us a few high points. It would probably take an entire issue to print it all. We thank God for what happened, not only in your life but also in the moments that followed the conversion of your wife that you, too, ac cepted Christ as Saviour. Did you decide to go bock to singing again? It took several months after that to recuperate. The doctors said I might possibly sing again but certainly that I should not try for three to five years. But I had such peace! I didn’t worry or even think about it. My wife’s par ents took us in and were such a help to us. By the way, they found Christ much more real a little after this. Did you, immediately start in Christian service? I tried to. I wrote many letters but I just couldn’t find anyone who was interested. Then Phil Kerr wrote me a note. He had heard about me through a mutual friend. He invited me up to the platform to sing one night in September, 1958, when I at tended the first meeting at the Pasa dena Civic auditorium for the Monday Night Musicals. Since then I have been there practically every night. And 1 understand that Phil has kept you busy singing all of the other nights of the week throughout California? Yes, and across the country, too. Actually, my wife says that before I found Christ as Saviour she didn’t like
