If you’re considering us for the first time, we appreciate the opportunity to earn your trust and business. My sons are always telling me the thing I’m best at is “ancient history,” so bear with me as I travel back in time 48 years. I had just returned home from the National Western Stock Show, and a neighbor stopped to visit and look at the bulls. By the time he left, he bought three bulls, all from our Denver pen, and the total paid for the three was less than a lot of sales averaged. I bring this up because this neighbor was the 2025 North American Limousin Foundation Commercial Producer of the Year, and we’re even prouder of the fact they’ve bought bulls here for 48 years! Thank you, Roger and Carol! We hope we can continue this lifetime journey of doing business together. Of all the buzz words that float around, the one we value the most is “longevity”—whether it is a donor cow, a tractor, or a customer, longevity matters. If we take care of these things, they take care of us. Cattle can be weighed, scanned, blood tested, etc., but it all boils down to the people that stand behind them. Thank you for allowing us to supply your seedstock needs for nearly 50 years! My Dad always remarked that South Dakota cattle are forged in the heat of summer and tested in the cold of winter, so we’re confident the weak links have been taken out. This catalog has pedigrees, weights, genomics, scan data and more. If you need anything, please let us know and we will give it our best to get the information to you. We’ve worked a lifetime developing a herd of cows that work for us—not us for them. We don’t single-trait select. We breed for balance across all traits. We select for cows that are manageable with the goal of them putting a bull in the sale, or heifer in the replacement pen every year. We make delivery swings to central locations in South Dakota and surrounding states and will work with you to get your purchases to you as economically as possible. We offer a $50 per head discount for cattle picked up sale day. Volume discounts start with a 5% discount on five to nine head and 10% discount on 10 head or more. If you plan to use a bull A.I., please let us know so we can pull DNA on the dam to meet NALF regulations. The cattle are fully guaranteed – buy with confidence!
