Mariners Fund Chairs have arrived! The Mariners Fund is proud to say that the new chairs have arrived for the Harbour Room and Dockside. Through the generous contributions of members, we raised $53,000 to purchase the chairs. The chairs were part of the continuing effort of Mariners Fund to refurbish the Harbour Room. In the past two years, the Mariners Fund raised the money to paint the Harbour Room, install new chandeliers and the capability to dim the lights. The Mariners Fund also is responsible for the commemorative bricks which now grace the Club’s courtyard. And, in years past, the Mariners updated the Burgee with a new bar, drapes and eisenglass windows. The Mariners Fund is a way to finance extraordinary MIYC needs; things outside of the normal budget; Club enhancements that will make the member experience better and up to date.
