WANTED: Thank You Cards for First Responders

Volunteers needed to reduce isolation for older adults … Eligible* Volunteers receive: • $3.15/hr. tax-exempt stipend • Mileage reimbursement • Paid holidays • Accrued paid time off • Supplemental auto insurance • Samsung tablet while serving • Tablet training * Volunteers 55 and older who can serve a minimum of 15 hours a week, must income qualify and pass a background check For more information, call PCOA (520) 305-3453

In remembrance of 9/11, the Senior Companions would like to honor our first responders and show appreciation by collecting handmade cards now through September 2nd. • Cards should be 5” x 7” or smaller - make 1 or 100!!! • Write a note of appreciation or encouragement • Go all out decorating • Cards should be dropped off or mailed to: PCOA—Senior Companion Program 8467 E. Broadway Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85710 • Cards will be put in boxes so that our fire fighters and

police officers can take one when they want some cheer — number of boxes delivered will depend on number of cards collected
