When we compare the list of Supply Chain to Admire Award Winners to the conventional wisdom of industry leaders, there is a stark difference. While some like Apple and Nike are commonly accepted supply chain leaders, the performance and recognition of other companies on the list are not. In addition, many companies touted as supply chain leaders—BASF, Cisco, Colgate, General Mills, Intel, J&J, and P&G—do not make the cut of outperforming their peer group on improvement, performance and driving value.
