KEEP IT LOCAL CAMPAIGN SPURS MP ENGAGEMENT – AND WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU
T he Keep It Local campaign has taken another exciting step forward in its mission to support small independent businesses across the UK. Following a coordinated letter-writing initiative to MPs, urging them to connect with local business communities and back the Keep It Local message, we’re proud to share that this has sparked a wave of positive engagement. Across the country, MPs are now meeting face-to-face with local independent office products resellers to hear directly from those at the heart of their business communities. These meetings are opening up important conversations around the value of local enterprise, the challenges independents face in an increasingly competitive market, and the real benefits of buying local. As a local office supplies business, we’re passionate supporters of the Keep It Local campaign. It’s more than just a slogan – it’s a movement rooted in the belief that local businesses bring real value to their communities. We’re incredibly encouraged to see government representatives engaging in these discussions and recognising the role we play in keeping local economies thriving. But here’s the thing – the success of this campaign also depends on you. Every time you choose to buy from a local office products supplier rather than a large multinational or faceless online giant, you’re making a direct investment in your community. WHEN YOU KEEP IT LOCAL, YOU’RE CHOOSING:
• BETTER SERVICE – We know your business, we care about your needs, and we’re always just a phone call away. No call centres. No ticket systems. Just real people who know your name. • SPEED AND FLEXIBILITY – Need it tomorrow? Need it today? We go the extra mile to deliver what you need, when you need it – if we can deliver same day, we will. • SUSTAINABLE CHOICES – Local sourcing reduces the environmental impact of long- haul deliveries. Many local suppliers, like us, offer eco-friendly product ranges and support sustainable practices. • COMMUNITY INVESTMENT – The money you spend with us stays local. It supports local jobs, sponsors local events, and keeps your high street alive. • REAL RELATIONSHIPS – We don’t see you as an order number. We’re here to build long- term partnerships and support your business growth however we can.

“EVERY TIME YOU CHOOSE TO BUY FROM A LOCAL OFFICE PRODUCTS SUPPLIER RATHER THAN A LARGE MULTINATIONAL OR FACELESS ONLINE GIANT, YOU’RE MAKING A DIRECT INVESTMENT IN YOUR COMMUNITY”
The Keep It Local campaign was born out of a shared belief: that small businesses matter. That communities are stronger when they work together. That the local economy thrives when we support each other. And as more MPs now take time to sit down with businesses like ours, it’s clear that this message is being heard where it counts. So next time you need pens, paper, printers, or PPE – think twice before clicking “add to cart” on a big-box retailer. Choose a supplier who’s part of your community. Choose quality, service, and integrity. Choose to Keep It Local. Visit www.keep-it-local.co.uk to find out more.
