Sgt. Bruce Alexander recently completed his certification for A.L.E.R.R.T. (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) level 1 Train the Trainer course. With this new certification Sgt. Bruce is now able to have instructor capability to assist other A.L.E.R.T.T. instructors to train First Responders for active shooter situations. Also, being certified he may be called in from another agency to train others in active shooter scenarios. This is a 40-hr. course that gives him the ability to be able to teach. He enjoyed the knowledge and is ready to put it to use.

When the weight challenge was announced Bailiff M. White was down for the challenge. When asked why she wanted to compete her response was “I needed to lose weight and this challenge was extra motivation.” Ms. White said she didn’t have a number in mind but wanted to lose whatever she could to win. She was out on vacation in Florida when she received the call that she won 2nd runner up for the females. She says, “I was totally surprised.” For winning she received a smart watch, and she loves it. If there is another challenge, she is guaranteed to be a part of it. Congratulations again!
