OPERATION FACE LIFT CONTINUES

Operation Face Lift Phase 2 Check out the new landscaping that was recently completed around the fencing area at Superior Court and Judicial Center. You can see the freshly

laid hay along with some Crape Myrtles, Common Myrtles and more. So, as you walk around, take a look at the newly placed curb appeal. It has truly livened up the spaces!

Tile was also replaced in the main jail lobby and hallways adding some much needed shine as you enter the jail and make your way to the Heroes' Café.

Deputy Thomas Benson is employed with The Henry County Sheriff's Office within the Field Unit. With his outstanding contribution to law enforcement and The Henry County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Thomas Benson has achieved optimal levels of personal performance and accomplishments. In addition, he demonstrates an ability to produce exceptional levels of skills in performing a broad range of administrative duties. Deputy Thomas Benson's excellent work ethic in cooperation with others for the benefit of the Sheriff's Office and his community is recognized by his Command Staff and fellow Officers. During one of our most challenging times with losing one of our Brothers in Blue, Deputy Benson did not hesitate to take the lead. He spent countless hours, from sun up to sun down, dedicating time with Sgt. Sean Free's family and friends displaying leadership traits. His loyalty and dedication demonstrate an unparalleled commitment.

UPDATES AND RECENT NEWS

A pilot for Chaplin services started in the jail on July 11th and 18th. This will give us an idea on how to move forward with services.

TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ASSESSMENT The Transformational Leadership Assessment

presented by LaSalle Smith, Sr. from The Newton County Sheriff’s Office Training Unit took place in April as well as the executive meeting for NOBLE’s Georgia Chapter.

During the month of June Investigator Calvin King made eight arrests. Out of the eight arrests, two were seven deadly sins including Aggravated Child Molestation. Investigator King also assisted with Narcotics surveillance and other fugitive apprehensions.

Both were held in our Heroes’ Cafè. A closer more united Henry is what we're striving for.
