We keep a close eye on new trends and always manage to successfully implement them in our designs due to our strengths in R&D, flexibility and creative design. Therefore, we are often the frontrunners of most trends. The Adamlights lead designer Kristiina Karjus describes: “The current trend is going in the direction of products being more animated and having a ubiquitous year-round use. The wide- spread social media and selfie culture advocate for fixed decorations in front of which people can take pictures and inadvertently promote a brand or a specific location.” Adamlights’ new catalogue suggests the new trends will include animal-shaped decorations, for example butterflies, birds, rabbits, Nordic ani- mals, more 3D products and more 30V products.
Light Art products are premium class decora- tions which have more innovative colour solu- tions, are technologically more complex and display class, style and exclusivity. Some extravagant examples are the decora- tions on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Ange- les, the Canary Wharf Winter Lights Festival in London and the City Square in the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Peeter Värnik, the Chairman of the Board explains: “These are light decora- tions that tell a story. At Adamlights, we create unique concepts specific to the locations and use certain elements exclusively for projects which are not even displayed in our catalogue.”
