Hours later, the twins were talking -together. “You know, Joan,” John said, “I’m still a little disappointed over not getting to go to camp. It would have been a lot of fun, and be sides, I thought we needed to go. But I guess we didn’t. God wouldn’t have let Mother get sick, so we would have to stay at home, if it had been a, good thing for us to, go.” Joan looked puzzled. “Well, I guess so. But what will we do now with the money we’ve saved?” John did not know, but he had a suggestion. “Let’s pray. Let’s ask God to tell us what to do with it.” Right then, they knelt down and prayed to the Lord Jesus. When they had finished, John said as he looked up happily, “I .think the Lord wants me to give my money to Billy, so he can go to camp. It would be a real surprise for him, and I could do some of His work while he is gone.” “I think,” Joan said, “that the Lord wants me to give my money to Mother, to help with the extra expenses.” The twins were very happy over these answers to their prayers. Eagerly th^y looked forward to Billy’s letters. He told of the good time he was having: of young Dr. Frank arid the grand stories he told; o f the favorite song, "Anywhere with Jesus I can Safely Go.” Billy’s last letter ended like this: “At our meeting last night, a lot of boys were kneeling by a bench near the campfire, and they promised to give their hearts to the Lord Jesus. I was one of them.” When the twins read that, they jumped up and down and clapped their hands for joy. “You know,” John said thoughtfully, “I was awfully disappointed at first when we had to stay at home.” "I was, too,” Joan added. “But the Lord has helped Mother to get well, and Hg’s helped Billy to receive the Saviour into hfs heart, and I think it’s the best vacation we’ve ever had.” LANTERN SLIDES 2 - If you are thinking of making up slide sets now is the time, 2"x2" and standard size (3^4"x#*), on glass 40e plain. 60c colored.
