Bound in half green leather with gilt borders, and green cloth blind stamped with a crest to the upper cover, raised bands between gilt rules and gilt lettering to the spine, all edges gilt, in a green cloth slipcase accompanied by pictorial dustwrapper for the trade edition in its own green card folder. A Portrait frontispiece and a mixture of black and white and colour plates from photographs. A fine copy, in a near fine slipcase. [45937] £250 Royal St George’s was the first English course to host the Open Cham- pionship.

Original light brown cloth with elaborate gilt lettering and design to upper cover and spine. Top edge gilt. Four chromolithograph plates under tissue guards and 35 (main- ly full page) engravings of scenes and diagrams by G.A Laundy. A very good copy with some darkening to the spine which is cocked and has fraying to the spine ends. Library stamp in blind and previous owner’s name stamped in ink to front endpapers.
