OPP CELEBRATE STUFF THE CRUISER SUCCESS
GRAND SUCCÈS POUR LE TÉLÉTHON DE LA BANQUE ALIMENTAIRE
Russell County OPP hosted two Stuff the Cruiser events in Rockland at the Parent Your Independent Grocer and in Casselman at the Daniel’s No Frills Grocer on December 10 to raise money and collect food for local food banks. The OPP worked hand-in-hand with volunteers from the two food banks and also with staff from Hot Country Radio 92.5 during the all-day event. The OPP were able to raise more than $8300 through the Stuff the Cruiser events along with collecting several hundred dollars worth of food items. The money and food items collected at each site will go towards the Casselman Food Bank and the Centre d’aide Rockland Help Centre food bank. —photo Gregg Chamberlain
Des bénévoles du Centre d’aide Rockland Help Centre (CARHC) ont surveillé les liens informatiques et les courriels pendant une journée de téléthon de collecte de fonds, le 10 décembre, au Parent Your Independent Grocer à Rockland. Hot Country 92.5 a assuré une diffusion en direct sur place pendant l’événement afin d’encourager les entreprises locales et les résidents à passer avec des dons.
