A RECORD PROFIT FOR HGH GOLF CLASSIC

The 40th edition of the HGH Foundation Golf Classic on July 6 at the Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club raised a record profit of over $55,000 for the Hawkesbury General Hospital. Proceeds from the tournament will help the HGH Foundation achieve its mission to improve the care and services they offer. The money will be used to acquire state- of-the-art medical equipment and develop new programs and services in key areas such as orthopedic surgery, urology, cardiology, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and advanced mammography. “We are amazed at the fantastic results of this year’s HGH Foundation Golf Classic,” said Erin Tabakman, Executive Director of the HGH Foundation. “Not only did the tourna- ment raise a record profit for our hospital, but we were thrilled to be back, in person, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this tournament that has raised over $1 million for HGH since its inception.” As in previous years, the tournament was accented with great food and fun activi- ties along the way. There were prize draws done throughout the day, and several lucky people walked away with a BBQ, a television, and outdoor fireplace, and three draws of $1,000. The prize draws were done during the banquet, where a delicious dinner was served to end the great day.
