We’ll board our train in Chicago and travel overnight through the scenic countryside to New Orleans, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the history and
culture of the French Quarter. Our first full day of touring will begin with a “Jazz brunch” at The Court of Two Sisters, one of the city’s most famous eateries, before a tour of the city along the rails of the famed St. Charles Streetcar. We’ll also take in the sights of the historic Garden District dotted with one stately mansion after another, journey to the city’s historic cemeteries that are referred to as “Cities of the Dead,” and enjoy authentic Cajun food at Mulate’s.
