Immerse yourself in centuries of history and the captivating culture of Portugal and Spain. This fabulous tour begins with two nights in Lisbon with plenty of time to explore Portugal’s capital before we board our
MS Gil Eanes for a 7-night cruise along the Douro River. As we set sail down the Douro, each day will bring us to another adventure. The food will be exceptional and the views will be breathtaking! We’ll tour Guimarães, wander through the beautiful gardens at Mateus Palace in Vila Réal, cruise through the heart of the most famous vineyards in the area, and enjoy an evening of flamenco entertainment. In Salamanca, dazzling houses and the impressive cathedral await our arrival and, in Ferradosa, we will journey through more vineyards and enjoy some delicious wines!
Our final stop is the city of Lamego for a visit to the Nossa Senhora dos Remédios sanctuary and cathedral. We will then disembark in Porto and begin traveling home.
