College – Issue 34

DEVELOPMENT OFFICE Why we’re supporting College

Our son, Spencer, started at College this year and his brother, Austin, will follow in 2020.

We were attracted to College because of its reputation for excellence, and we have not

ever embarked on there are lofty goals. College is well on the way to achieving those goals with some incredibly generous gifts that have been made. But, there is still a way to go. As we could not match the generosity of some others it was tempting to think that there wasn’t much we could do to help. But, we realised quickly that the success of this campaign lies with the College community – everyone doing what they can to support it. This was our opportunity to contribute to the future of College, for our boys and those who will follow them, and we would encourage you to do the same. It is a great cause and it feels great to be a part of it. Helen and Mark Smith

been disappointed. Our boys will benefit from the excellent facilities, teaching, support and opportunities already available at College. But, maintaining excellence requires constant improvement. We cannot sit back and simply benefit from gifts from the past, and nor do we want to. We want to be part of College’s future and contribute what we can. The For the boys, For our future campaign resonated with us because of the focus across all aspects of the educational experience at College. As the campaign is the biggest transformational fundraising campaign College has

For the boys, For our future .
