Valley Partnership’s Community Project
In November, Sojourner Center’s campus came alive with the energy of more than 300 volunteers from across the Valley. In one extraordinary day of service, families, friends, and skilled tradespeople united to transform our Emergency Shelter into a more beautiful, welcoming environment for survivors. This inspiring effort was part of Valley Partnership’s 2024 Community Project—the largest volunteer gathering in Sojourner Center’s history. From refreshed outdoor spaces to new landscaping and critical facility improvements, the impact was immediate. We were honored to welcome Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and Councilwoman Kesha Hodge Washington, who joined us to recognize Valley Partnership’s contribution and show their support for Sojourner Center’s mission.
We are grateful to Valley Partnership for selecting Sojourner Center as the 2024 beneficiary.
