are well acquainted with the stand of t h i s magazine on false religious sys tems, also that of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Inc., of which it is the of ficial publication. Since its first is sue in 1910, this periodical has ac cepted the responsi

Wilbur M. Smith, William Culbertson, John R. Rice, John F. Wal- voord, Charles L. Feinberg, and many others are following in the train of these giants of the past generation in this dual ministry of proclaiming truth and disclosinq error under the lens of Holy Writ. It is a real honor for me to introduce this most important article by a God-blessed brother in the Lord, Dr. DeHaan. It is our earnest prayer that this material will not only challenge the hearts of our KING'S BUSINESS family, but also serve to bring true spiritual enlightenment to darkened souls steeped in this false system. After you have concluded the article, may I suggest you pass it along to a friend. It has been placed in the center of the magazine so that it may easily be removed and given to someone else. May God help us to "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."

bility not only to declare (to the best of its ability) "the whole counsel of God" in its purity, but also to obey 1 John 4:1 and 2 John 10, 11: " , . . believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine [the doc trine of Christ], receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." This position of fidelity to scriptural counsel has involved the exposure of false teaching in the light of God's Word. In following this course The King's Business has had "good company" in the persons of some of the most gifted Bible teachers the Lord ever gave His church — such stalwarts of the faith as I. M. Haldeman, C. I. Scofield, A. C. Gaebelein, W. G. Moorehead,

What do Seventh-day Adventists Believe by M. R. Today? DeHaan

T h e f o l l o w in g pages are written with the sincere desire and prayer that they may be used to acquaint you with absolute facts concerning the Seventh-day Adventist movement as it exists today. This is undertaken after much prayer that the Lord may use it to snatch many from this religion of bondage bringing them into the liberty of the children of God. It is prompted by a deep love for the souls who have been ensnared in this move ment, and also as a warning to others who may come under the influence of this unscriptural system.

We have found out in our years of experience that very few people, including many of the Seventh-day Adventists themselves, know exactly what this denomina tion believes concerning many of their distinctive doc trines. There is far more involved than the matter of keeping the Sabbath. We invite you therefore to read in an unprejudiced manner the following facts, and then compare them with God’s Word, and ask the Lord for the ability to discern between truth and error. We shall give first a brief history of the movement.
