Hood Container Acquires Sustainable Printing LLC

Atlanta, Georgia based Hood Container Corporation an- nounced that it has acquired the corrugated packaging business, Sustainable Printing LLC of Dalton, Georgia. The transaction includes all printing, converting, and ancillary equipment which Hood will utilize at its existing facility.

“The Dalton facility will provide additional capacity and new capabilities to Hood’s presence in the markets we serve,” said Charlie Hodges, President and COO of Hood Container Corporation. “We are excited to add these capa- bilities to Hood’s offerings to better serve and care for our existing and new customers.” Hood Container operates locations in 17 states. The company also owns and operates linerboard, medium, and shipping sack paper manufacturing operations in New Johnsonville, Tennessee, and St. Francisville, Louisiana.
