The CPPA would also facilitate direct disclosure requests and allow data disclosure without consent for specific purposes, such as "socially beneficial purposes", statistics, study, or research, if certain conditions are met. Individuals must receive notice about a potential transfer of information outside of Canada, but the individual's consent to the transfer is not required.
