The hotel The historic 3-star Headland Hotel & Spa faces the coast on the clifftops at Daddyhole, enjoying mesmerising views of the ocean in the Devonshire coastal town of Torquay,. Originally a summer villa, the hotel’s Romanoff Restaurant is named after the family who once owned this unique property.
It offers both an excellent menu & stunning views and the recently redesigned Gallery Lounge, which also enjoys sea-views from its terrace, is a perfect place to relax & socialise. The hotel has regular evening entertainment and there is also a luxurious hotel spa, with hydrotherapy pools and a sauna. Daily excursions & lunches • An entertaining half- day ‘Heritage Tour of Torquay’ with a wonderful local guide • A visit to beautiful Port Eliot, with a private house tour that includes Robert Lenkiewicz’s intriguing Riddle Mural & also takes us ‘below stairs’ to give a unique perspective on those who have owned, lived and worked there • The thatched- cottage village of Cockington with Cockington Court’s many art & craft studios & snowdrop-filled gardens & a welcoming village pub for lunch! • A free half day at our hotel (with the coach on hand to drop us at the harbourside & shops).
