• Before any transport movement takes place ensure that the container is secure including the door fastenings. • Observe vehicle heights and never exceed the travelling safe height of the vehicle. • Check stability of load by assessing the vehicle movement at low speed. • Extra caution should be taken when travelling in high winds as vehicles and loads can move and behave differently • All vehicles are fitted with auto sheet systems. • No persons are permitted to climb on loads to sheet at any time. • Vehicle handbrake must be applied when sheeting. • Roro Containers (Open) – Must be sheeted when on the vehicle. no manual sheeting permitted. • Roro Skip Compactors (open) – must have compactor sheet applied from the ground before bin is lifted. Pallet wrap supplied to use as a secondary securing method to prevent waste escaping. Also see Transporting Skips – Loaded & Empty • All loads must be sheeted. • Skips - If manual sheeting is required this must be done with the container on the ground at all times. • All sheets must be secured using bungie cable to prevent waste escaping. • Sheeting poles provided to prevent working at height.
